The Mission of the American Board for Certification in Infrastructure Protection (ABCIP) is to establish and promote critical infrastructure protection standards through collaboration, training, education, and certification. ABCIP will support all homeland security initiatives and integrate international infrastructure best practices.

Vision:

The Vision of the American Board for Certification in Infrastructure Protection (ABCIP) is to be the preeminent source of standardized training, certification, and continuing education to facilitate learning in all-hazards, risk management, innovation, and effective critical infrastructure protection. Through collaboration with individuals, businesses, and government entities, ABCIP will promote information sharing and recommend measures to best protect critical infrastructure.
